Chartreuse Liqueur du Foudre 147 is an exceptional cuvée born from the assemblage of green and yellow liqueurs each carefully selected for their distinct profile. Aged in Cellar 17, the longest cellar in Europe, this liqueur is the physical expression of the expertise of the Carthusian monks. Released for the first time in 2019, it has been produced since then at Entre-Deux-Guiers, in a place called Aiguenoire.
This blended liqueur offers an unexplored aromatic balance, the vegetal notes blending harmoniously with a soft sweet base. To appreciate it at its best, it is recommended that the liqueur be served cool, between 12 and 13 degrees, or over ice in order to release its aromatic complexity. Chartreuse Liqueur du Foudre 147 is a gustatory masterpiece, ideal as the graceful conclusion to a meal or to savour a relaxing moment alone or with friends.
The process under which this exceptional liqueur was created reflects the expertise of the Carthusian monks. Each Chartreuse liqueur, green or yellow, chosen for the assemblage is born from a unique and ancestral recipe, of which the composition remains a secret. Once blended, this liqueur is aged in Cellar 147, which bestows on it an aromatic complexity and unique flavour.
