Duncan Harwood & Co was a Vancouver based distilling company owned by United Distillers Ltd. This is not the same United Distillers that eventually became Diageo. This company was formed in Canada at the height of Prohibition in the US and operated into the mid-1950s. The company was eventually wound up in the wake of a tax evasion scandal that implicated its directors, one of the largest cases in history at the time.
This was distilled at the Duncan Harwood distillery, registered no. 2 in Vancouver. It is no longer active.
