A resplendent cognac from J. Calvet. Distilled in 1828 in the commune of Juilhac Le Coq just south of the town of Cognac, we believe it was aged up to sixty years and bottled in the late 19th century. With an applied Napoléonic crest to it's shoulder, the mould-blown glass bottle is of classic Cognac form.
This cognac was produced before the Phylloxera epidemic of the late-19th century, which only adds to its quality and rarity.
