A bitter digestif made using cinchona bark amongst other herbs, peels, spices and who knows what else?  This is an intriguing amaro from Martini & Rossi in Turin.  The use of 'Elixir' in the title evokes the very origins of this form of spirit as a medicinal concoction intended to promote good health and long life.
