This whiskey was casked in 1962 and bottled in 1977 at the Schenley company's Canadian distillery in Valleyfield, Quebec. The site is still in operation today, under the ownership of Diageo, who bought Schenley in 1987.

Schenley were one of the "big 4" American whisky companies who dominated the post-Prohibition market, alongside National Distillers, Seagram's and Hiram Walker.
